Something stupid happened, I got this hot computer cheap and the fool that bought it put a password on it. How can I get into it?
And will the soultion you post be workable on all the hot PC's that I may get my hands on in the future?
Why do we help these people, when we know that is NO WAY whatsoever to know if the stories they tell are true?

I think Rick is right. If you change you password the first is being erased, so you should be able to log on if you really are the owner of this computer. Unless something went wrong with the password file, but I don't think this happens very often.
