In command prompt, cmd.exe, the omly two font options are Lucida Console and Raster Fonts. Anyone know how to coax w2k into offering more options?

By default in W2K and XP, Lucida Console and Raster are your only two choices. Supposedly, Andale Mono is another possibility...it is part of the Microsoft True Type font pack for the web.

I just found this site, which describes how to edit the registry to add more "suitable" terminal fonts to the choices in cmd.
I added Andale Mono, and it works fine !

Courier New is another suitable font.
