I want to always have the folders at the top of my window. I use "details" mode for all my windows, but when i want to arrange the folder by date, ie most recent files at the top, the folders go to the bottom of the page. (or to the relative date they were created) is there any way to keep the folders at the top, no matter how you sort the files?

Reply:
1. Open any Explorer Window. (Double-click the My Documents icon on the desktop, for example.) 2. Click the down arrow to the right of the Views button and select the view you prefer: Large Icons, Small Icons, List, or Details. 3. Pull down the View menu and choose Folder Options. 4. In the Folder Options dialog box, click the View tab. 5.Click the Like Current Folder button. Windows will ask if you want to set all folder windows to match the current view settings. Click Yes to continue. 6. Click OK to close the Folder Options dialog box.
