Everytime I turn on my computer now a certain folder in my (Documents and Settings) is always open/displayed, been that way ever since I brought it home from the computer repair shop two weeks ago. How do I eliminate that from always opening at startup and just have my desktop displayed after boot finishes? Even changed motherboards with different BIOS yesterday and CPU to no avail.

Download msconfig for 2000 and uncheck it in the startup.

I got mconfig two weeks ago, but i don't know what all those things in the list are or mean. Theres about fifty things. Tell me how to copy it to this forum and you could tell which one it is, maybe? Or I could take a photo of it and type them in all manually if anyone thinks they cuold identify it. I'm still a newbie, built about a dozen computers, no problem screwing them together but I'm lost at programming. Thanks

click start .. then programs ... then click startup. see if the folder is in there ... if it is simply delete it from the startup folder.
