Floppy - OS problem

Dear all,
I am using a windows 2000 pro system and windows 98 system. The floppy which iam using in windows 98 sytem is not working in windows 2000 pro system, but both the Floppy drives are working fine. Please suggest some ideas to get rid of this problem.

I'm a litle confused, you said "but both the Floppy drives are working fine". Do you have 2 floppy drives in the machine? If you only have one, is the floppy drive even showing up in "My Computer"? If not, try ADD/REMOVE HARDWARE in the Control Panel and try to add the floppy drive. It could very well be that the drive is not compatible with Win 2000. Although you'd think a floppy drive would be. Also, try another floppy drive if need be. They're cheap and easy to install.
