I've found a fix for the "IE will not allow me to drag and drop files into FTP sites" problem posted here in Februrary:
1. Open any folder.
2. Go into Tools --> Folder Options.
3. Under the General Tab, in the Web View section, make sure its set to "Enable Web Content in Folders".After you've done the above, if IE still won't let you Drag and Drop to FTP sites, try this:
1. Open IE
2. Go into Tools --> Internet Options.
3. Under the Security Tab, click on the appropriate zone (usually either Internet or Local Intranet, or both), then click on custom level.
4. Under Miscellaneous, make sure "Drag and Drop or Copy and Paste files" is set to either Enable or Prompt. The computers I've tried this on are:
Windows 2000 SP4
Internet Explorer 6 sp1
All critical WindowsUpdates as of 31-Mar-2005
Office 2000 SP3 with all OfficeUpdates as of 31-Mar-2005
Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2One more thing: On another Message Board they suggested reading Micrsoft KB Articles 887614 and 834707. I didn't find anything in these articles that helped me. But just in case there is something here that would help you, I'm including them (Go to support.microsoft.com and search for these numbers to view the articles).
