Is it possible to recover a word document (office xp) on your harddrive (somewhere)that you saved on a flash key. Someone told me you could. Maybe a temp somewhere? Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

There may be a temp file that was created. Do a search for ~*.doc and ~*.*

Then, compare the dates to the date you saved the file to the thumb drive.

"on your harddrive (somewhere)that you saved on a flash "

If you saved it directly to the usb stick and never to the hard drive deliberatly there is no recovery.

If at any point you opened and edited the file, use a file recovery software [off the internet] to see if you can recover the temp file.

Give a person a fish you feed them for a day.
Ask a person to internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
