Comment:

I have some files that I can see listed in Explorer, but can't open, rename or delete.
If I right-click the file and select Delete, it does nothing.
If I right-click the file and select properties, it says "Properties for this item are not available"
If I try to delete the folder it is in,it says "cannot delete xxx.yyy - cannot find file".
I even went into DOS and I can list it using the DIR command, but can't delete with the DELETE command.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Phil

You may need to take ownership of the files before you can manipulate them.
