Comment:

Would like to get advice on how to do file synchronisation / backup from laptop to server. This shall be transparent to laptop users with either Win 2k or XP OS. Ideally, all files will be copied from laptop to server once the user logon to the Server. Do we need commercial software to do this, or does Windows 2k Server comes with such application?

This function is avaiable in 2k client/server. You'll find all the info in the help file (almost)
