Hello, I have two windows 2000 machines, no service packs installed. Both machines use the router succesfully to share the internet connection, but when I try to lo-in to any of the computers from the other one an ugly message shows up "Enter Network Password" I NEVER set up any password. It asks me "Connect As" and "Password".. I do not know what to enter...please help! Thanks

Possibly... have you created an account on each PC for the other? Use the same logon/password for PC-A account on PC-B that you use to logon to PC-A locally ; and similarly for PC-B account on PC-A use the logon etc. for that account of PC-A that you use to logon to PC-B locally.

And since both PCs are "yours" why not use the same account logon/password details for both PC's logon?

I would also be seriously inclined to install the current/latest SP (2?) for W2K on both machines...
