Does anyone know why i am unable to access my drive in fdisk. It only gives me the option to change current drives.

drive is probably formatted as ntfs.

Try fdisk /status; it should give you a read-out of all the drives present and their, well, status. You should be able to access an NTFS volume, as the fdisk menu contains an option to remove non-DOS partitions, which are, obviously, Abominations In The Sight Of Man And God.
Summary: How do I run Fdisk, to remove the active status and then partition a second hard drive that I intend to connect to my current W2K Pro system? I think I read where I could only do it with Win98 system ...
