Why does my favourites not come up as an option in the start button. And also i have a saved favs folder that i want to paste in my computer, how can i do this?

Click on Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu. Check the Display Favorites option.

For the second half of your question, click Favourites, Import then locate the folder where you have tha saved favourites. Clcik on it, then OK and they will be imported. Note that they will overwrite your current ones.
