Fat32 to NTFS

What is the easiest way to convert a fat32 partition to an NTFS partition on W2K adv server operating system??

I had a similar questions. Do the following.

convert x: /FS:NTFS

x = your partition.

Run this in a command shell. It will convert during the next reboot.

Only problem with the convert command is that you end up with a very inefficient cluster size - 512bytes. I'm pretty sure that it has bad repercussions on fragmentation and disk performance.

Do a search on 'NTFS cluster size' and you'll find plenty of info
