how do i find out whether i have fat 32 or ntfs file system.
i am using win 2000.

From start, program, administrative tools, computer management, and expand all the tree, then look for disk management and select. On the right pane, you will see all your partition laid out. you will see the file system type under file system for each drive or logical drive.

Just right click your "C" drive and open properties.
