Hi all,

I want to change some BIOS settings. But the F2 key does not work at the boot time. The system starts and goes on to loading the Windows 2000 OS.

Sometimes it waits at the start for user input. It says press F1 to resume but does not give an F2 option.

what could be the problem.

Is F2 the normal keystroke to enter the BIOS? Did you set the BIOS password up? Try clearing the CMOS.

Depending on what type of computer/BIOS you have, F2 may not be the proper key to enter Setup. Since F1 doesn't appear to work either, try the Delete Key.
