in win 2000 himem.sys, emm386.exe, config.sys not found. I wants to work with EMM in dos with turbo c. Please help

Windowes 2ooo like all NT based O/S have no MS-DOS sub-system, it may be time to find a Windows 2000 version of TurboC.


NT based O/Ses do have a NTVDM (New Technology Virual Dos Machine) and the following article though aimed at NT4, the basics are the same, may give some pointers:

With a standard install if w2k, Turbo C will usually work.

If you use the Turbo IDE, w2k may load command.com; dunno why.
