explorer.exe and iexplorer.exe

OS: forgot which pack
CPU/Ram: 512MB

i cant open my explorer.exe or my iexplorer.exe i get the message that it cant load D:\WINNT\Explorer.exe or D:\WINNT\iexplorer.exe and freezes for a few seconds. this just started yesterday and ive had 2000 installed for a long time, can anyone help?

Perhaps your shortcuts are incorrect. Is your Windows installation on your D drive? explorer.exe should be located in the root of WINNT. iexplore.exe should be located in Program Files\Internet Explorer\

Have you done a search for explorer.exe and iexplore.exe?

Yep, it goes like this:

explorer.exe is Windows Explorer

iexplore.exe is Internet Explorer

iexplorer.exe is a virus
