when ever i opne up explorer..it has the C: expnaded...i want the My Documents to be expanded..when i opne it as well..how can i do that?

To get Windows Explorer to open to "My Documents" you must create a short cut to your desk top or anywhere you please then try right clicking it to Properties and in the Target field, enter the following string exactly as shown here: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n, /e, c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents If you have a name other than "Administrator" showing as a sub directory under "Documents and Settings" than enter that name instead of "Administrator" in the target field above.

Or better yet right click the "Windows Explorer" icon not the short cut and make sure that the following string is in the target field; %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe

Thanks...but what I want is..When you open up explorer...you first see desktop, my documents..Then the HD etc...I want that my documents to open...so the not than many folders will have to expand to view the my documents..In C:Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents...it will have all those closed and only folder expanded is My Documents...and of course Desktop.
