Hello, im using explorer 5.5 on my computer but for some reason every time i double click on the "Internet Explorer" on my dektop on my toll bar next to the Start menu it will not open it,i have to open a folder and put my website address there to access the internet, i tired to restore it in add/remove programs but intrenet explorer does not seem to be there,it is in my program files but no in mmy add/remove programs, can you tell me how can i restore the explorer or even reset it so it will work when i click it on my desktop. thanks

try creating a new shortcut by deleting the shortcut you have on your desktop and making a new one. you cal also check in your internet properties and on the advanced tab see if the option of "showing IE on desktop" is selected. if that doesn't work, you could try a soft install of IE? or even upgrading to IE6? you could look in the ie folder in the program files for an uninstaller for ie...but i would try the shortcut before anything else....

yea thanks i am using a shortcut from program files but it very annoying when the normale interent explorer wont work or even the tool bar for tha matter.
