Comment:

Veiw menu in Explorer Win2k is default set to veiw "large icons". How do I change this so that the default ends up being "details"?

I too have the same problem. Windows98 would comply when you chose view, details, and then chose view, like current folder. Then the setting would apply to the entire directory tree. It's irritating in that it doesn't become the default for the entire directory tree in Windows 2000. I've been searching forums for days and still no luck. Please let me know if anyone responds with the answer? I'll keep your e-mail address too and notify you of I find the solution. Viewing large icons as the default and not details is just plain stupid. Especially if you have dozens of folders to open and you want to view the details of all the files and folders.
