Exclude user from Group policy

Hi experts,
just wanna check with u all,is there anyway to exclude a user from group policy? i implemented group policy in my company but i want certain group of people being excluded from the policy.Thanks!

create OUs and place the required users in it .

And apply the GPO's at OU level.

in the props of the GPO add the user account and set the permissions to deny gpo.
