What is the best way to do an offline defrag of an exchange 2000 database,
and how long does it usually take,the .mdb file is about 8gb. thanks.

the best way is to use a third party utility but, a normal defrag on mine which has about 120 users w/each having 250mb mailboxes usually takes about an hour if I do it weekly. If I do it monthly, it can take considerably longer.
