Is there a problem if I install "Exchange 2000" on my "Active Directory" and "Global Catalog" Server ?
Is it a must that Exchange 2000 be installed on a Member Server ?

Preferably install MS Exchange on a server different from the Global Catolog for good performance. The Exchange program always has a copy of the Active Directory if well installed and configured; it relies on Active Directory.

I find it interesting that MS recommends it on a separate server, - same thing for SQL server, plus you should have a backup DC. They seem to think that every office can afford 4/5 servers.
Yet, OTOH, they come out with SBS which has everything on the one DC! So this proves that in fact it'll run fine on the DC/GC.
