Excel compare and merge data

I am new excel user and need some help. I have 2 series of numbers and want to compare and merge them into one. For eg. column A has 1,3,5,7 and Column B has 1,2,3,4,5 and my answer in column c should be 1,2,3,4,5,7. Please advise how this can be done.
