Dear All,
Could someone tell me what does the following message from my Application Log mean? I keep getting this error message and my computer hangs after that. Could you also tell me how to solve this problem? ____________ The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( True Vector Engine ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: . ____________
on this site is an explanation from microsofts side, it's basically a page to show you how to use the aplication log,, but they use event id 1 as an example and giving the way to resolve the problem too..

Sounds like you're having a problem with ZoneAlarm. That's what uses the True Vector Engine. I had a similar problem, in NT4, trying to move to a high version ZA (from 2.6.362). Check their site for support or take a look througn the grc.com forums.
