I am recieving the following error in my Win2k Event Viewer:
Event ID: 5719
Source: NetLogon.

"No Windows NT Domain Controller is available for domain USMSO. (This event is expected and can be ignored when booting with the 'No Net' Hardware Profile.) The following error occurred: The RPC server is unavailable."

If anyone knows a way to resolve this error I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, Brooke

Are you booting with the No Net hardware profile? This error means it can't find a domain controller. This usually means a problem with the DNS configuration. Is this error on a domain controller or a Professional machine. Are you trying to log into a domain? Do you even have a domain controller. I need a bit more info on your setup.

Thanks for your quick response. The error is on the domain controller itself. The domain controller is running Win 2k Professional. If it is an error caused by incorrect DNS configuration as you have suggested do you have any ideas what we might look for?

Thanks again.
