The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'my isp', Server: 'pop3.norton.antivirus', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I get this error when receiving e-mail with Outlook Express. I have a dual boot sys with Me & 2k on separate partitions and get the error in both (which makes me think it's on their end). Got it once before but can't remember what the prob was. Any hints ?? Thanks.

Hi Wayne, Open Outlook Express, click Tools, then click Accounts, if you have more than email account, choose one and do this to all accounts. Click an account, click on Properties, click the Server Tab at the top, in the POP and SMTP setting,re-enter the correct pop and smtp, when you installed Norton, you choose to allow Norton to protect your email, causing the change in the pop and smtp.
