Hi All,
I installed Visual Studio 6.0 on Windows 2000.
The problem is: When ever I Close visual basic window, I get the following error,
Title: Program error Error Message: vb6.exe generated error and windows will close the program. Program needs to be restarted.
If anybody has any idea, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hrm......I would uninstall and reinstall VB6. I have the same setup and no problems at all. VB6 and windows integrate when you install VB6. If you still have problems after deinstalling VB6 I would reinstall win2k. Then install VB6 No, no need to format or even change anything. But backup any e-mails and favorites and reinstall win2k.

Ive had simalar problems but pauleebs solution worked for me
i would also suggest installing service pack 5 for VB6 as it ptches a lot of bugs in the software, component bugs
