Hi guys, I'm running Win2k Pro with all the latest updates, including SP2.

When I open double click (to open) either a .txt file or a .mov file the file opens into the correct program (notepad, quicktime) but i get an error box saying "Cannot find the file 'C:\insert path here' (or one of its components)/ Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."

This is really wierd, I've tried a bunch of other file types and these are the two that give me the problem.

And i don't get the error when i open the file from the app. Just when i click on the file to open.

I've run a virus scan, but it didn't show anything. I've done a scan disk and a defrag too.

The only thing i've done in my registry was remove some Orcale stuff. Other than that, i don't remember doing anything else. I noticed the problem *around* the same time I deleted the orcale stuff from my registry, but i'm not sure if i did it before the problem happened.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
