Comment:

when i open a text file in windows 2k (and this happened in 98 as well) i get the message
"cannot find the file 'c:\documents and settings...filename.txt'(or one of it's components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. "
this just started to re-appear, does it have to do with something that i've installed on my system?

Run a virus scan, if it is doing it in both OS's it is possible it is a virus... I had this once too it was a virus, but I got a different error message.
