I have a user that has always had errors when loading her profile. For some reason it does not load startup scripts or other startup commands. I went to microsofts website and they said you could troubleshoot the problem by going to the debug file userenv.txt located in c:\winnt\debug\usermode. I did that and I see these error message every time she signs on-
USERENV(224.240) 15:31:32:442 CreateEnvironmentBlock: Failed to open HKEY_CURRENT_USER, error = 5 USERENV(224.240) 15:31:32:842 ExpandEnvironmentStringsForUser: CreateEnvironmentBlock failed with = 203 USERENV(418.1d8) 15:31:38:681 CreateEnvironmentBlock: Failed to open HKEY_CURRENT_USER, error = 5 USERENV(418.1d8) 15:31:38:711 ExpandEnvironmentStringsForUser: CreateEnvironmentBlock failed with = 203 USERENV(188.20c) 15:31:38:761 CreateEnvironmentBlock: Failed to open HKEY_CURRENT_USER, error = 5
If anyone knows anything that would help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd sugget backing up all of her folders in her profile. Then delete the folder. If her account/profile is stored on a server, then make sure you delete the cached account on the workstation as well. After that, reboot and have her login, the OS will then rebuild her profile account and you can restore any needed data (I'd only restore the data you need, not the whole thing). I'm assuming anyone else that logs onto her machine everything runs fine. So, I think you just have a corrupt profile.....
