After installing the Sp1 for IE6, I'm no longer able to enter text in the imbedded fields of any webpages.

I've tried with Maxthon & get the same issue. If goto the "help" menu and click "about Internet Explorer" I get an "Error 84: unspecified error" message. If I go into the Add/Remove program in the control panel, I'm only seeing the different icons.
I don't see any of the descriptions.

I'm using Win 2000 SP4. I have used Ad-aware & SpyBot with the latest definition & didn't produce anything. Possible Browser hijack ?!?! I have not gone to any external sites with the said machine only to the MS Windows updates.

I've looked through the forum and haven't found any feed back on this one.

Any suggestions would be welcomed & appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
Cheers.

Look at the link below for possible help. There is a rollup after SP1.

Thank you for the information. What would you do in the
instance where you were getting this type of error after
installing the Rollup ?

Again thank you in advance for the help.

Cheers.
