I am having quite a slow boot up On my win 2k Machine, Boot time went from around 2 minutes to over 5 minutes just to reach my desktop it takes an additional 2 minutes or so for my startup programs to load When I access the event viwer i see an error Event Type: Error Event Source: Service Control Manager Event Category: None Event ID: 7022 Date: 7/1/2002 Time: 5:00:21 AM User: N/A Computer: JPB031569 Description: The DNS Client service hung on starting. The only thing I can associate this with is either that I have netbui and tcp/ip installed at the same time ( was told Netbuoi would increase my network connections speeds) and or the addition/removal of a program named Dynip Can anyone assist me with this problem Thanks
