Hi,
I am using win2000 now.
I've installed a winXP on a different drive. Now i can physically delete all the visible folder in winXP drive. But how come when i check the property of that drive, it is still not free the space yet? Does anyway i can format that specific drive only? I have done clean disk. I also have used DOS to format but still not allow me to do so. I also put the start up disk in but can get to drive D:
Your response will be a great appreciate.

Justin.

Have you tried formatting the aforementioned drive in 2000's Disk Manager? If not, give that a try. You can find the drive manager easily by right clicking on My Computer and choosing "Manage" on the menu that comes up. In "Manage" select "Disk Management". In the Disk Manager, right click on the drive you wish to format and choose (you guessed it!) "format"
