equipment configuration error

OS: windows 2000 pro
CPU/Ram: 64MB Ram

every so often my computer rebbots itself for nothing then when starting back up it comes up equipment configuration error then asks me to insert the windows diskette and press f2. what is wrong and what should i do to fix it?

Umm, Do you really have only 64MB, and running w2k?? Since you have so little RAM, it is possible that you have two or maybe three divices sharing memory space, that you don't have. Then it re-boots becuase it's choking and using your vitural memory. Try adding at least another 192MB, giving you 256MB and see if that helps.....Damn... You have guts..
