Comment:

I would like to know if it's possible to enable/disable a device from a batch file or a C program on W2K.
If yes, which command to use.
I looked everywhere and the only way I found to enable/disable a device, is to use the device manager.
I would like a way to do it automaticaly, without any user.

Thanks

if you want it automaticly you can save two hardware profiles and choose them like you would multi boot before win2k starts. see hardware profiles in windows help, it will have details on how to do this.

Auto-It is a freeware application to
automate tasks in W2K /XP
i am a memeber of the Auto-It list
and am pretty sure Auto-It can do this
mail me if you like this solution
and i will try to help you further
(Auto-It is freeware)

Which device would you like to be enabled ?
