hi there,

i'm trying to pull a pop mail password from outlook express for a client of mine who has lost their record of this password and has no easy way of retrieving it.

outlook express is able to download their email since the password is stored in its settings. i had the idea that i could export the account settings to an iaf file and then read the password from that - but it seems to be encrypted.

does anyone know how to decrypt passwords stored in iaf files? or how to retrieve a password stored in outlook express 5?

any help would be much apreciated.

cheers,

j

Use revelation from

It's free and works a treat for many asterix encloaked passwords (Outlook express included - hoorah for microsoft security!!)
