Edit Text file with cmd

I have text file Mytextfile.txt

I have 3 lines at the top which i want to delete.

I want to write a code in batfile which will delete the top 3 lines form the top.

I tried edline d:txtfile.txt 1d

But that did not work

Any help woyld be appriciated.

Hey, Found this while searching the forums before. Why dont you take a look? Should be possible to mod their scripts to suit your needs. Id write you one myself but i dont have the time.
