two questions: i have installed two exchange in a win 2k environment. and in exchange administration console, i can't seem to view the two exchange servers under one site - under servers. i have to connect to each one individually. if they're both on the same site, domain, and organization.. shouldn't they see eachother? and the other question is - is there a way to replicate the mailboxes of one exchage server to the other without clustering?
also, from my workstation, i can't connect to the servers by clicking on the browse button, i have to type in the computer name. and from the exchange servers, when i click on browse only their own computer shows up under the site.- presto

First Question: As long as there is RPC connectivity between the server in the site you should see these under the same site in the admin program. A prequisite of exchange 5.5 running under 2k is SP3 do you have this installed? (exhange server sp4 is now out and addesses some isses with 2k/exhange 5.5)Second queston: There is no way to add redundency mailbox contents between server as you require. Even in a cluser enviromet this can not be achived! As a cluster shares a common disk unit. your cluster will protect your against server hardwar falire but not not drive.
The advantage of using clustering is there are many redundency solutions for drive storage that you can use. so both can be covered.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party util that will do this?
