Dynamic DNS Cannundrum

I have a Windows 2000 domain on a home network consisting of a single Win2K server. I set this up a while ago, and then got a nice high-speed internet connection. I then decided to get dynamic DNS to give myself a URL. Trouble is, whenever I try to add a new workstation to the domain I get an error saying the workstation can't verify the trusted root authority. I assume because my DNS name is *MYDNS*.dyndns.org, it's looking to dyndns.org to make sure it's ok to join that domain. Is there an entry I can add in either the registry or the DNS control panel to tell the workstation to view MY server as the trusted root?

Check the TCP/IP configuration (using "ipconfig /all" command) of your workstations. The DNS server address should be on the internal network, probably of the domain controller. If it's a public IP address (i.e. the IPS's DNS-servers) your clients will not find the Windows 2000 DC's and therefore the Domain will not function.

Should I hard-code my server's DNS name in either the workstation or the server? I also failed to mention (sorry) that the server is dual-homed, I have one "external" NIC for the legit IP and one "internal" NIC to NAT addresses out to all my other junk so they can hit the internet too.
