I have a Gateway Solo 9150 laptop that came with windows 98 and a c-cube dvd decoder card. After putting Win2k on it, I am unable to find any suitable dvd players. Win2k detects the dvd decoder card as a "Toshiba DVD Decoder Card Ver3," but the DVD player that comes with win2k says it cannot decode video. Has anyone gotten a DVD player working on this machine under windows 2000?

I installed WinDVD Pro, and it will play DVD's, but it doesn't seem to be using the hardware decoder ... I don't notice any change in the video quality when I disable the decoder in the system control panel. Does anyone know if there's an updated driver or a way to make WinDVD pro play nice with the decoder?
