Comment:

I am running a Win2k station and am trying to connect two monitors to it. I have already installed two video cards, but it only seems to use the one on top regardless of which one that is. When I go into the device monitor both video cards are there but the second one has an exclamation point net to it and the following error:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device.

I talked to other people and they say that I should be able to go into the control panel and change the settings, but when I go into the control panel I can not find anything pertaining to dual monitors.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mario

You will have to experiment with the drivers.

To get the 2nd card to load, I had to "uninstall" it AND the orginal (main motherboard agp adapter from within device manager(control panel - administrative tools - computer management - device manager)

When it rebooted, win2000 found both and loaded them.

Now I have both adaptors and monitors running, but I have not been able to get windows to extend to the second one.
