I've just assembled a 2 Gig Core 2 Duo rig for painting and photography that includes a Biostar nVidia 7600GS. I'm operating with Windows 2000 SP 4, the latest (and last) version. I'm looking at a Eizo 22" monitor, and the machine is performing beautifully. I'm 74, and have never assembled a computer before, so I'd like to take (some) advantage of the possibilities.
I have a little Dell LCD monitor I'd like to use for Photoshop menus, working on a full-screen image on the Eizo. The software that came with the Biostar included a dual screen option; I installed it, but the Dell reports "No Signal" after the preliminary Win2K screens come up on it and the Eizo. I've used XP to work with two monitors, and I know it's an easy matter with that OS; I wonder if someone will help me in this case. I like Win2K, and I'd like to keep it until Vista's first service pack in about a year. How do I get those PShop palettes onto the Dell?
Much obliged for your help
