Comment: What if any portable/laptop computers will allow dual monitor capabilities with Windows 2000? I have a Toshiba and am told there is no way.

Reply: (edit)If you have an external monitor connector, then you should be able to have the same screen showing on both the laptop monitor and the desktop monitor. If you are really asking for dual monitors with different screens showing on each monitor, then you will need a docking station where you can install a second display card for the desktop monitor.

Reply: (edit)Yes you can have multiple monitors running in Win2K but you need to have one video card per monitor or a video card with multiple outputs. This is the only way, sorry Xray

Reply: (edit) Why unders anothers Windows version is this possible and why under W2k no, I'm using a Laptop computer with Windows98 and works perfectly, I upgrade to W2K and only works on mirror mode, them after Upgrade to XP works perfectly, but I can't find why W2k doesn't this fueture?
