Reply:

1.use fips and split hd into 2 ie.C. and D.
2.Install Windows into first partition(C.)
3.Install Man9.0 into second partition(D.)
4.During Mandrake Install when you get to install Lilo, choose which O.S. you want to make Default for booting(also make a couple of boot disks to play safe)

Not up on Linux issues, but these may help?

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q171611

And

http://sseti.udg.es/marga/books/O'Reilly-The_Linux_Web_Server-CD-Bookshelfv1.0/linux_web/lnut/ch04_04.htm

details setting it all up initially; at the end is a brief 'how to remove it (Linux)...'

Inclined to think the M$ article is the easier route?

Perhaps post this query afresh (a new post) in the W2K forum and also the Linux? That way you'll likely get more/better input - especially if the M$ KB article doesn't work for you?
