Hi

I have windows 2000 installed and want to also have an option to start up in Dos. Windows 2000 is NTFS.

How do I do this without wiping the NTFS partition. Do I boot in dos and fdisk it?

Thanks

Ken

The only you can do that is to start setting-up your DOS before installing Windows 2000 on the same machine. But for me i recommend to have a two partition for that machine, one is for DOS and the other one is for Windows. Your problem is that you cannot create a dual boot that having Windows installed first on your machine. This is based on my experience and what i've read.

Hope this would help and address your problem. Try this.

I thought one could add entries to the windows 2000 boot loader if you want to add operating systems after loading 2000. But if not, would a simple re-install of the operating system suffice? or would one have to wipe the drive and start over? Thanks
