Comment:
I currently have a dual boot of Win ME and win 2k. After a lot of stupid crap that I did, I ended up adding a "windows 2000 professional SETUP" option below my Windows ME option in the screen that allows you to choose which operating system you want to use. Can I edit this? I want get rid of the "windows 2000 professional setup" option that it has added and keep my original win2k and winME options. It chooses "windows 2000 professional setup" by default and goes to it after 3 seconds...really annoying. can anyone help? please...thanks

Open the file boot.ini from notepad and make your editting on boot up choices from there. The boot.ini file should be in your primary partition which should be C drive.

Also if you want to edit the amount of time given before choosing which OS to use, you need to do this from Win2K. Right click on My Computer / Properties / Advanced tab / and choose Start Up and Recovery. Edit your time allowance from there.
