i don't understand why when i reinstalled windows 2000 it stopped working on me. i just clicked the upgrade one instead of complete reinstall so i didn't have to install everything over again and now when i try downloading something it doesnt start it just sits there doing nothing. nothing works music doesnt download every site is like this even the loading is slower.

Fresh installs are always the best to do... no matter what OS you are talking. I suggest just starting over. Just upgrading over the top of an OS leads to a poorly running computer and often misc. errors like this.
