I accidently set it so when I am downloading files it doesnt ask where I want to save the file or open from its current location. How can I get it to do that again? Also, when I open a .zip file from its current location they always come up with no files in the zip file. It used to work but not any more, please help me. thanks.

"Open at remote location" is a misnomer: if we're talking internet here, there's no such thing. All it means is an application you have on your computer (some decompressor, adobe, etc.) will download the file to a place it likes & then automatically launch the file for you.

As to your words: "I accidently set it ..." it's unclear what you refer to. The Win2k download interface offers no configurations: it always prompts. Do you have a download manager installed? If so, an uninstall/reinstall will fix it.

what happens is it automatically saves it to the temporary folder and then opens the file, I cant save it where i want. Usually i can just do save target as but sometimes u r redirected to a file and then I cant do save target as. And this is a problem for zip files b/c when i download them into the temporary folder they dont work.
