I'm experiencing problems with IE6.. It seems to just crash randomly.. I don't know if it's IE6, but how can I downgrade to IE5.5?

Thanks

There is a known problem where W2000 SP2 and IE6 uninstallers compete with each other in the Add/Remove applet. The later installed of the two replaces the previous uninstaller.

A solution, though not guaranteed to get the IE6 uninstaller back in Add/Remove, is to reinstall it in place (same exact installation pathway), and the uninstaller might reappear.

Incidentally, the performance bugs in IE6 might be due to your having installed SP2 after having already installed IE6. A strictly build-date oriented order of installation (SP2 installed before IE6) is recommended by Microsoft. You would need to uninstall both and reinstall them in correct order to test whether this is what caused your IE6 problem.
